October is one of the strongest all-round months. The weather is comfortable, the Haram is calm outside the half-term week, and fares are at the lower end of the year. It suits most travellers, and particularly those who found the summer too hot.
Six to eight weeks for most of the month. If you need the half-term week specifically, book three months ahead — that single week carries far more demand than the rest of October.
